Rauf Mammadov is a senior manager at Fuld & Company, specializing in energy issues. He also serves as a non-resident scholar on energy policy at the Middle East Institute and the Jamestown Foundation.
His research focuses on energy security, global energy industry trends, and energy relations between the Middle East, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus, with a particular emphasis on the post-Soviet countries of Eurasia.In addition, Mammadov co-directs Bright Garden Voices, a grassroots initiative fostering constructive dialogue and activities between Armenians and Azerbaijanis.
Previously, he held senior administrative roles at the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) from 2006 to 2016. In 2012, he established and managed SOCAR’s U.S. Representative Office in Washington, D.C.
