Tinatin Japaridze is the Director of Policy and Strategy at The Critical Mass, LLC focusing, among other projects, on security and public health information in Eurasia. Previously, she was the United Nations Bureau Chief for Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian media outlets and U.N. Radio host and producer of her own radio show on current affairs in the international arena. Her work has been widely published by various media outlets, including The Moscow Times, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic. In 2019, she became a Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs Student Ambassador on Cyber Ethics and Digital Leadership. She serves as a mentor at Girl Security, a non-profit that aims to close the gender gap in the security sector, focusing on national security and information security-related matters. She plans to launch Girl Security Georgia with the organization\u2019s founder later this year. Over this past year, she also served as a \u201cGo Big\u201d Officer at the European Leadership Network (ELN), crafting a digital campaign to extend the New START between Russia and the US. As a fun fact, Tinatin Japaridze co-wrote and recorded the United Nations anthem, \u201cWe the Peoples,\u201d and co-authored Iceland\u2019s silver prize-winning Eurovision song in 2009. Her forthcoming non-fiction book, \u201cThe Tale of Three Stalins,\u201d will be published by Rowman & Littlefield in late 2021. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
