Community security expert in security sector transformation, police reform, peacebuilding, DDR, small arms control and local development with the focus on such cross-cutting issues as gender, communications, community security and access to justice. 16 years of experience as a journalist, UN DDR officer, gender advisor, knowledge management specialist and strategic communications adviser working in conflict affected regions in Georgia, Ukraine, Middle East, Uganda and South Sudan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katsiaryna Shmatsina<\/strong> is a Belarusian political analyst focusing on the Belarusian foreign policy,  regional security, and the impact of the great power relations on smaller actors. Katsiaryna\u2019s portfolio includes Rethink.CEE fellowship at the German Marshall Fund (2020) and Think Visegrad Fellowship (2019). Previously, Katsiaryna worked for the American Bar Association where she managed the democratic-governance and rule-of-law projects. Katsiaryna holds a Master\u2019s in international relations from Syracuse University, New York and a law degree from Belarusian State University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mariam Takaishvili<\/strong> works as a head of communications and protocol service at the State Military Scientific Center \u201cDELTA\u201d of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. She has worked as a legal expert for National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (2017-2019), head of NATO communications section and national leader of the SNGP (Substantial Nato-Georgia Package) StratCom project (2015-2016).

Tinatin Japaridze<\/strong> is the Director of Policy and Strategy at The Critical Mass, LLC focusing, among other projects, on security and public health information in Eurasia. Previously, she was the United Nations Bureau Chief for Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian media outlets and U.N. Radio host and producer of her own radio show on current affairs in the international arena. Her work has been widely published by various media outlets, including The Moscow Times, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Tskhovrebova<\/strong> is a business journalist with more than ten years experience of working for various media outlets in Georgia. She holds a MA in Social Sciences from CSS with the focus on Transformation in the South Caucasus. She heads the Business News Department at privately owned broadcaster Formula TV LLC and hosts a daily business news show \u2013 Business powered by Bloomberg \u2013 covering business\/economy related local and international topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medea Turashvili<\/strong> has more than ten years of research, analytical and advocacy experience in various local and international organizations, including Ombudsman\u2019s Office of Georgia, International Crisis Group, European Centre for Minority Issues and Caucasian House. She has been researching conflicts, human rights, forced migration, democracy and social transformation in the South Caucasus. She is an author of various articles and has contributed to the publications of International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), International Alert, Slovak Foreign Policy Association,and European Centre for Minority Issues and the Carter  at George Mason University <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hayley Jewett<\/strong> is a project coordinator at the Georgian branch office of the international organization, Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College and studied abroad in Armenia and Russia conducting research on local environmental issues. She went on to work as a cultural ambassador in Astana, Kazakhstan during the 2017 World Exposition on Future Energy before moving to Tbilisi in 2018, where she continues to reside.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
